Service Learning and Volunteer opportunities abroad are excellent ways for students to develop intercultural skills, future job skills, and career competencies while meeting a need desired by the host community. There are a number of volunteer agencies/platforms students can utilize to find and connect to these opportunities.

Seeds of Hope
Huaraz, Ancash, Peru
Seeds of Hope is a Peruvian registered charity that provides a safe and welcoming space for 55 impoverished students aged 6-18. These students, often at risk of dropping out of school, are helped to achieve academic and social success through a before-school or after-school program. Seeds adopts a multi-faceted approach to achieve its goals; combining tutoring, emotional well- being classes, recreational activities, and daily nutritious meals.

Blue Mission Organization
